We have been working with residents of Saddler House and Mason Apartments to address ongoing concerns around parking across the development.
Following issues raised, we organised a site visit bringing together residents, the Head of Parking, and the Cabinet Member for Enforcement, alongside your local ward councillors. This was an important opportunity to review the situation on the ground, particularly given the mix of parking arrangements across the development and the challenges this creates for residents.
During the visit, residents were able to directly raise their concerns, including issues around availability of spaces, unauthorised parking, and the need for clearer and more consistent enforcement. Officers were able to assess these issues firsthand and discuss potential solutions.
As a result, further work is now underway to develop a package of measures to better support residents and improve parking management in the area. As your ward councillors, we are fully supportive of this work and will continue to push for practical improvements that reflect residents’ concerns.
