We are pleased to share a positive update following concerns raised by residents about the condition of local roads.
After listening to residents and raising these issues with council officers, we have successfully secured funding through our ward budget to deliver road resurfacing works at Marston Close. This is a clear example of how resident feedback can lead to direct Improvement in our community.
In addition, we have been actively raising the condition of Rainham Road North, a key primary route through the area, alongside the local MP. Given its high levels of traffic and importance to the wider network such as serving the 103 bus, we have been working with the Council to ensure that necessary resurfacing works are prioritised, they will take place in Mid-late April.
We know how important well-maintained roads are for safety, accessibility, and the overall quality of the local environment.
