The Borough were delighted to welcome Their Majesties, King Charles III and Queen Camilla, to Barking and Dagenham for a special visit to the borough.
The visit was a proud moment for our community, showcasing the strength, diversity, and achievements of our residents. Their Majesties met with local people, community groups, and organisations, highlighting the fantastic work taking place across the borough including visits to Barking and Dagenham College, Eastbrook Studios and Barking Town Centre.
It was a wonderful opportunity to put Barking and Dagenham on the map and celebrate all that makes our borough unique. We know many residents were excited to see the visit and be part of this historic occasion – we were there outside the Town Hall – a very special moment!
